On September 30, 2025, the Atlas Data API and Custom HTTPS Endpoints, Atlas Device Sync and Atlas Device SDKs (Realm), and Atlas Data Lake will reach their end-of-life. The email you received on February 3, 2025, is a reminder of the service deprecations.

If your application only uses Triggers and no other deprecated features, such as Data API or Device Sync, then you do not need to worry. Your Trigger functionality will remain unaffected.

How to check which features you use

You can verify whether your project is using any of the deprecated features by following these steps:

Access services:

  • Atlas App Services: Go to the Atlas App Services URL for your project: https://services.cloud.mongodb.com/groups/<GroupId>/apps

  • Data Lake: Go to the Data Lake URL for your project: https://cloud.mongodb.com/v2/<GroupId>#/dataLake

Replace the <GroupId> in the URL with your actual Project ID.

Review your apps:

  • If the screen shows any apps (Atlas App Services) and Pipeline (Data Lake) listed, it means you are using Atlas App Services or Data Lake, and you should review those apps to see if they are dependent on any of the features slated for deprecation.
